The 2010 World Soccer Cup is truly underway. Yesterday we saw an exciting opener between, hosts, South Africa and Mexico. The South American team were fancied to win the game against a less experienced African squad. As predicted, Mexico showed early dominance but it was South Africa who struck first. The opening goal from the Africans will surely be a contender for goal of the tournament. Anyway, one defensive error saw the ball cross the South African defensive line with 3 Mexicans ON SIDE, it was just an easy tap in for the goal scorer which levelled the game 1-1. The South Africans bravely fought on and in the last minute of the game, they hit the woodwork. Final Score South Africa 1 Mexico 1.
Well now it's June 12th and the biggest game of the day is the England vs USA Soccer Match. It's a 7.30pm kickoff here in the UK, that's2.30pm Eastern Time in America. It is arguably the toughest game for both the US and England in Group C.
